About Tiffany Kendra Boz

I seem to find myself continuously surrounded by fabulous scenery and interesting details from which my creativity may feed. My life to this point has been spread over 5 cities amongst two continents. I use the term City loosely when referring to Dunoon, my final stop at this point. Continuously evolving from Village to Town, Dunoon sits nestled between hills, the River Clyde and the A815. Its only foot hold keeping it from slipping into Island statues. Geographically the term ‘Island’ is unmerited; for starters its physical attachment to the western mainland of Scotland revokes any island claims very swiftly. Though considering its isolation and need for ferry services you could be forgiven for the miss conception.

The common denominator of my past residence has been water. Ocean, River, Lake and swamp all simply water flowing at various speeds. The art works I have chosen to display are studies of swamp life predominantly inspired by the plantations of South Carolina. My place of birth being Charleston, SC, my view may be slightly bias. Such a habitat is not as still and stagnant as one may first believe. Teaming with botany, zoology and colour, a swamplands makeup has changed little from the time of the dinosaurs, yet its appearance is different with every glance you take
